We will sing for you…
I don’t want to go.
We will sing for you…
I don’t want to go.
So the other day I had a dream where I got into a fight with some guys I knew way back in secondary school, so I looked up what the meaning of this could be in my dream dictionary and I found that the definitions are quite humorous:
To dream that you are defeated in a fight, signifies that you will lose your right to property. To whip your assailant, denotes that you will, by courage and perseverance, win honour and wealth in spite of opposition.[…] To dream that you are on your way home and two negroes attack you with razors, you will be disappointed in your business, you will be much vexed with servants, and home associations will be unpleasant. To dream that you are fighting negroes, you will be annoyed by them or by someone of low character.
iwl.me is probably one of my favourite websites. Basically you input at least a paragraph (I usually put in two, but then, I like short paragraphs) of writing and it uses some fancy algorithms to tell you what writer your style most closely resembles.
So I chucked in a few paragraphs of some of my IRC fics and got Arthur C. Clarke, not bad. Then I threw in some personal blog chapters and got William Gibson, sci-fi seems to be ingrained in me.
Everything I’ve ever done in terms of fitness and health has never been for my own personal gain, it has never been for the benefit of a healthy body or feeling good after a work out, it’s only ever been about sex and women. Since I was about 13 this has been my reality, a very shallow one I’ll admit.
Say What Now of the Day: The city of Lincoln, Nebraska, is debating a proposal that would protect the LGBT community from discrimination in housing, employment, and public accommodations, and one local resident just couldn’t miss the opportunity to rant. Jane Skrovota wins Worst in Show for her hate-filled testimony vitriol in public hearings this week.
The lowlights have been helpfully transcribed (but be sure to watch the video; the horrified guy behind crazy lady is a riot):
- “P- E- N- I- S goes into the anus to rupture intestines. The more a man does this the more he’ll be a fatality or a homicide…”
- “A huge percent of gay men in school grounds molest boys, partly because they don’t have AIDS yet…”
- “Hillary Clinton’s roommate four years in college was a gay woman. To avoid going gay like Clinton did, college students need single rooms and single gender dorms… A college woman is seduced with illegal Rohypnol to go gay.”
- “Candida fungus grows hugely on a corpse. AIDS is a candida fungus disease…”
- “Gays can transform to be celibate to live to be 80 years old.”
- “Jesus was kissed by Judas, a homo, who tried to sabotage Jesus’ kind ideas. Do you choose Jesus, a celibate, or Judas, a homo? You have to choose!”
I find the guy behind her hilarious, his reactions are priceless. Constantly facepalming and giving the impression of “You’re filling my mind with fuck”.
Whilst reading The Lost Adventure: Shada, by Douglas Adams I have an incredible urge to re-watch the old Tom Baker-Who. Anyone know a website where I can?

Mr.Snowman liked to sunbathe,
He sunbathed everyday,
He made sure to put on sunscreen,
So he didn’t melt away.
.
But one day he forgot,
And ended up in trouble,
And old Mr.Snowman,
Ended up a puddle!

One day it began to rain,
It rained all about,
It rained so much;
Even Hell was put out.
.
For once the weather man,
got it right, and Satan wondered;
Why was there still a hose pipe ban?

ACT I. SCENE I.
When I have you in my arms, lying on the bed carefree and ignorant of everything that surrounds us. When I feel you pressing against me, the warmth and softness of your skin caressing me, with my arms wrapped around you and holding you, never letting go as if I’d lose you. Feeling the rise and fall of your chest, the beating of your heart, the sound of your breathe, when I have you in my arms like a package of love, nothing else matters.
